Associate Consultant
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and culturally aware Associate Consultant based in Egypt with a strong background in political science, international affairs, or public policy. The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree or equivalent professional certification (e.g., PMP), and at least 4 years of experience in consulting, project management, or collaboration with international organizations (such as UNESCO, UNDP, or similar entities).
This role is central to the development and delivery of policy-driven, research-backed consulting projects, and involves significant writing, reporting, and coordination responsibilities across scientific and policy domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing international and public-sector consulting projects from initiation to closeout.
- Participate in the design and development of project proposals with scientific and policy relevance.
- Conduct in-depth research and gather scientific evidence to support consulting deliverables.
- Write and compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, ensuring clarity, coherence, and compliance with project requirements.
- Draft high-impact PowerPoint presentations and participate in client-facing briefings and workshops.
- Contribute to the development of methodologies, project frameworks, and strategic workplans.
- Maintain close coordination with stakeholders, project managers, proposal teams, and subject-matter experts.
- Monitor project quality and ensure timely delivery of outputs in line with contract requirements.
- Support data collection, cultural/contextual analysis, and content structuring for government and international reports.
- Translate scientific or complex policy matters into actionable insights for clients and proposals.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in consulting, international collaboration, public policy, or related work.
- Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or relevant credentials is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with or within international organizations (e.g., UNESCO, UNDP, World Bank).
- Strong scientific research and policy analysis skills.
- Excellent PowerPoint design and presentation preparation capabilities.
- Familiarity with proposal development, including gathering technical and scientific information.
- Strong written communication skills (Arabic fluency required, English preferred).
- Exceptional time management, organizational discipline, and attention to quality.
- Critical thinking, adaptability, and cultural fluency in working with diverse stakeholders.
